If this is the first video of me that you have seen then I’m Tracy, the owner of TI Accountancy and I am head of Demystifying your numbers. You may or may not have seen on our website that we have a mission statement, and our mission statement is to “treat your business as if it was our own”.
It seems like a really simple statement, but I wanted to explain what that actually means, what it means to me, what it means for the team, and most importantly what it means to you as a client.
So for me, because I don’t live in England anymore, the business is actually run on a day to day basis by the amazing team in the office. For me, this mission statement allows me to know that everything they do, that their mindset is in the right place to help you as a client. So every time they come against any kind of query, this is the question that they ask themselves. “If this was my business, what would I do?” so you can understand that they’re doing everything in their power to treat your business as if it was their own.
It gives them the ability to be able to make decisions without me being there, because all they need to do is ask themselves that question over and over again. Sometimes they come to me with an issue, then we’ll talk about it together, and I’ll ask well what would you do for your business? Literally this one simple statement gives the whole team, the freedom to be able to make decisions, knowing that it’s the right decision.
And, as I say most importantly, what that actually means for you is, you can trust absolutely anyone in my team, that they will look after your business as if it was their own. You know that every decision that they make regarding your business will be what they would do for their own business.
I’m hoping that this one simple statement will help on our journey to looking after your business.
