I think most business owners will know what I mean when I say ‘office-envy’!

You walk into another business, their building is beautiful… everything looks so slick, bright and happy.

You may think ‘why can’t my office look like this?’

The British Council for Offices has given awards to the ‘best and most innovative’ workplaces in the UK… they’re so pretty!

Whether their award was for biggest space, most refurbished and recycled or just brightest and open; they all have something about them that makes people work their hardest and most importantly, work their happiest.

So here’s the business message:

You don’t need a giant multi-million pound building with sleep pods and high ceilings to have a beautiful office.

You need to make the most of your offices space, light and cohesion!

Because nobody should work in a small cubicle, tucked away with only artificial light…

A happy employee is a hardworking one and simply making the most of what you have is enough to really boost morale.

I don’t know about you but I’ve started moving some desks around…maybe I’ll buy a fish tank!
