There’s something pretty liberating about driving. Maybe it’s something to do with knowing that you’re in complete control over your destination, or the sheer freedom of driving alone down an open road…

…well a change could be in the pipeline.

The Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) predict that within the next 15 years, driverless cars could be the norm on our nation’s roads.

For every 10,000 errors humans make, computers make just one. And when you think about it, that’s a scary thought.

The new driverless car, referred to as an ‘autonomous vehicle’ could lead to fewer accidents on the road. And although the idea hasn’t been welcomed by everyone, it’s a project that’s very much happening.

Imagine, if driverless cars become the norm, speeding could be a thing of the past and taxis could die with it.

It’s both an exciting and a daunting thought. Extensive testing will need to be carried out before the cars can be used without a qualified driver.

But, imagine – this could save lives.

Too often businesses fear change. It’s so easy to get stuck in a rut when it comes to your product or service. However, change is inevitable and in order to grow and develop, it’s important to embrace the new.

Otherwise you could risk missing out on opportunities that could really benefit your business.
