Just a quick one today as I just wondered … how long is it since you’ve spoken with your clients??

spoken with your clients recently?

I know you may be sat there thinking well my business is closed, but honestly at this time it is more important than ever to remind your clients to continue to do business with you.

Whether you’re sat at home not being able to doing anything, or if you’re the person left in the business having to do everything yourself because your staff are all furloughed, or if your business it’s still open and really busy like ourselves. Keeping in touch with your customers is very important at this time.

What are you doing to let your clients know that you still exist and will be coming back bigger and better at the end of this Corona crisis?

If your business is a ‘Business to Consumer’, like a hairdresser, plumber or therapist, then you should keep in contact with your clients.  I know you don’t know when you’re going to re-open yet, but you could ask if they’d like to go on a waiting list, so that you know as soon as you have an opening date, you can contact them and create appointments to fit them in as soon as possible.

If you’re in the hospitality industry and you already have an email list you can send them email with VIP vouchers for when you re-open.

If you haven’t got an email list already , you could put something in a local newspaper giving them a link to a VIP voucher to use once you’re open, this will give you a start to your customer list and you can let them know when you are open and what offers you have, how are they coping etc.

But you need to find something that reminds people that you are still going to be there and that you are going to need their support once you are allowed to open the doors again.

If you are a ‘Business to Business’ it’s almost certain you already have email address and phone numbers of clients.

Have you spoken with your clients recently and checked to see how they are doing? A quick email or phone call asking how they are, is there anything you can do for them! Showing that you are thinking of them might make all the difference to their loyalty to your company, and reminding them why they came to you in the first place.

So I ask again … how long is it since you spoke to your clients?
